After having breakfast at the famous Kyani & Co Restaurant near Fort area in Mumbai, we visited the Gateway of India landmark monument in Mumbai. It is 3.3 Kms from the Kyani Restaurant. We took a cab from the restaurant and reached the busy tourist spot in Mumbai.
The Gateway of India is a 100 year old monument and offers amazing views of the Arabian Sea and the Mumbai coastline. Situated at Apollo Bunder in Colaba, the famous Taj Mahal Palace Hotel is in front of this Monument. We visited on a Saturday morning, so there was the weekend crowd and regular tourists. Just Besides the Gateway of India, there are option for boat ferries to go toe the Elephanta Caves.
Watch the video of us exploring this Landmark Monument. We explored this area for 30 minutes and could see a large queue waiting to board the ferries which takes them to the Elephanta caves. They halt for 1 or 2 hour there and then ferry them back at this location. There were also many Seagulls strolling the coastline. You can also see many Yachts park in the ocean and also some ships sailing near the coastline.
